Cunningham at South Park Works recently took learning beyond the classroom with a field trip to North Padre Island National Seashore. During the visit, the team conducted detailed beach profiling at two locations, collecting valuable data on wind and wave speed and direction, beach elevation and width, and GPS mapping of the wet/dry line.
This hands-on effort contributes to ongoing research by the Bureau of Economic Geology at the University of Texas, as well as supports local government initiatives to monitor shoreline health. The data helps inform decisions about when and where sand redistribution is needed to preserve and protect our coastal beaches—making this field trip both engaging and impactful. #Wearewolves #CSPSTEM

Our CSP wolves had an exciting field trip supporting our feeder school - Moody- as they competed in a Drone Aerial Competition! 🚁
Our students had the opportunity to connect with other competitors, learn more about drone technology, and even practice flying drones themselves. Meanwhile, VEX Robotics teams were on-site preparing for their upcoming competition, and our students got hands-on experience driving the robots—such a great learning experience all around!

Yesterday, our 8th grade AVID students had the opportunity to visit Moody High School to explore the wide range of CTE pathways available to them. Students not only experienced hands-on programs and career-focused opportunities, but also learned about the different industry-based certifications they can earn to jumpstart their future careers. Experiences like this continue to inspire our Wolves to think ahead, set goals, and take ownership of their future. #CSPis AVID
