Some of our wolf scientists spend the day at the beach using surveying equipment to collect data on coastline erosion of coastal areas with a University of Texas Geologist. Students also measured wind and wave speed and direction. Finally students measured the wet/dry line using GPS devices. All the data the students collected will be used in actual research and studies of Texas Coastal Erosion.
A special Thanks to the Island Whataburger for surprising our wolves with lunch!!!! 🍔!!!!

7th grade scientists started out the week making observations on three different concentrations of lemonade. Today they studied other aqueous solutions and compared their concentrations while diluting the samples in a mini lab station, they drew evidence from graphs and created a visual story board of the data, and used AVID strategies, marking the text, to help answer questions about a short reading passage. Way to go Wolfpack! 🐺⭐️🥼🧪🧑🏽🔬
